Herring Festival Cancelled Due to High winds and Driving Rain

For Immediate Release:The 2014 Herring Run was a great success and the season's quota is almost caught! However, due to the high winds and driving rain expected Sunday the Sausalito Herring Festival, a benefit for the Sausalito Community Boating Center at Cass Gidley Marina, will not take place as planned at Gabrielson Park on the Sausalito Waterfront. To quench your craving for herring please visit the following restaurants, who will be featuring a variety of fresh caught local herring dishes throughout the weekend:Angelinos Davey Jones Deli Fish. Osteria Divino Sushi Ran WalzwerkThanks for understanding that as much as we'd like to we don't control the weather, and we are grateful for the rain.
